My Hand and Eye

He was born in Makati City on August 20, 1970 but become wise in Quezon City. He grew up dreaming of becoming an architect, however “Behind Every Successful Man is a Woman” and that is the reason why that dream remains a dream forever. He is currently working as estimation engineer in Sharjah, U.A.E. and teaching Design & Estimate as a part time practice for private individuals & student. He is very enthusiastic about things associated with art and design. He is a tattooist, caricaturist, photographic hobbyist and amateur photographer. 

 

He blog about architecture, photography, arts & social issue. He is the creator of The Hand and Eye.com., a charter member of Arki-Goons Philippines and a “Marksman” in Philippine Guardian Brotherhood Inc.  An active member of the most influential comradeship in the Philippines. He left his home to work in Dubai in 1999 where he eventually raised his family. He works at Bernabe Mechanical & Industrial Corporation (of Asia) in 1994 and hired by Roots Pacific Corporation as intermediate architect in 1996. He acknowledged the firm as a primary influence on his career where he developed further.

 

Boyhood Life:

At the age of 10, he learned to find alternative sources of income by going house-to-house to collect bag of throwing-away garbage, gathered old newspapers, plastic, metals and used bottles to sell at junk shops. During his adolescent years, he works in the street by selling different kinds of sweet delicacies, cigarettes & newspaper. He also got paid to work as a deep well worker, public transportation conductor, exhibition hall porter, contractual house/building façade painter, silk screen and signage artist. While studying architecture he did various construction associated works like construction laborer, auxiliary mason, assistant carpenter, helper electrician and apprentice painter. He also works as warehouseman, timekeeper, Liaison officer, purchaser & draftsman. Regarding this period in his life, he later involved in several activities and some unbelievable stupidity with countercultured group of people and great personalities along the way.
